My Beloved Grandfather,

Since the morning you left us, the void in our lives has been irreplaceable. Your witty remarks, your smile like a ray of sunshine, your placid yet lovable disposition; these are merely a few of the many things you had brought into my life since I was born. 
When my father left me 10 years ago, it would have been unbearable if you had not been there as a father figure for me. I am blessed to have had such a devoted grandfather caring for me. 
The only reason we are making it through these bitter times is the reassurance that you are watching over us at this moment. Although you are not in the same world as us anymore, you are our guardian, as well as our motivation to work even harder than before. Your passing has taken the hardest toll on Grandmother, however, rest assured, your daughters and I will protect and take care of her.
