God be with you big brother David.

We travel the river of life, and its turns can bring many changes to our way. But, what may appear as the final bend, it is just the beginning of the something new. Far beyond it, there lies still another land where your loved ones, directed by God’s own hand, lives on, although physically out of sight at peace in a world of eternal light. 
But your charm, handsome face, kindness and great smiles will never be forgotten. 

I remember your happiest moments in the past few years when we were out spending your pastimes with us, enjoyed having Dim Sum in your favorite restaurants, we often talked about world events and your hunting trips with your Grandchild and friends in different occasions. I cherish your surprise phone call to me from the hospital to say Good- Bye. That voice will be remembered forever. 

Your will be greatly missed. Big brother. Go in peace with God.


My grandpa was a strong, resilient, energetic and positive soul.  I remember childhood summers picking pears together in his backyard, riding around in his slick cars, and listening to stories of his hunting adventures.  He loved living in the beautiful land of Canada, expressing this often. He was always there with enthusiasm and a smile for his children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.  I will always think of you fondly. May you rest in peace.

You are such a loving and selfless man, you are always a great pleasure to be around and your kindness will never be forgotten. 

I am forever grateful for all the memorable times we have spent together.

You have always been such a huge influences on me since day one and we have always clicked like 2 peas in a pod. Not only were you a phenomenal grandfather but you were also a great friend, mentor and a positive role model.  I will forever cherish the memories  of the summers spent with you growing up as a kid, our hunting expeditions and when we went to China back in 2016 to visit your village in Toi San. 

I remember you at your happiest moments when you were out doing your favorite pastime which was duck hunting. You told me after firing a gun for the first time that I won't be interested in shooting arrows anymore. Now I'm hooked on it just like you were. May your legacy live on. 

Thank you for being a great grandfather. You will always be missed dearly. Your smile and kindness will always be remembered. I am glad I was able to talk to you over the phone recently and I will always remember your voice and cherish that call. May you Rest In Peace. 

My dad was born in Hong Kong, he was very lucky in his early age, raised in a well-off family and was well taken care of by his parents, he had 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
He enjoyed swimming, an avid swimmer in the open sea and loved many outdoor activities. 
He found his first love early in life, a pretty girl next door, they became inseparable and determined to endure all obstacles ahead. They have their first son at the age of 20, despite extreme pressures from parents to return to school and severe financial restraints, their love for each other continued and had 3 more children soon after. They had many bitter sweet endurances in life together, looking back, we were very blessed by the love of God. 
He determined to immigrate to Canada at an age of 33, he worked hard to change his career and fulfill his dream in a cold land with no friends and relatives. Throughout the years, my dad had overcome all obstacles with resilience, patience and courage.
In Canada, he gradually excelled at work and became a head chef in a large restaurant in downtown Toronto, he was well respected as a master (See Fu) by many subordinates. He loved life in Canada, he likes duck hunting and especially cherished the hunting trips with his grandson Jeffrey. He also maintained long lasting friendship with several hunting partners.
He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, we can always count on him for supports in any difficult time and situation. He was a man of integrity, sincerity and very down to earth, I am very proud to have him as my dad, may he rest in peace.
