Teresa Di Salvo

Beloved wife of the late Filiberto Di Salvo. Caring and devoted mother to Antonella (Gabe), Freddy (Chiqui). Proud Nonna to Francesco, Olivia, Matthew, Angelica and Filiberto.

She is survived by her siblings Margherita, Michelina, Luigi (Porzia), sisters-in-law Anna and Maria (Carmine). Teresa will be dearly missed and remembered by all those whom she touched during her lifetime.

Teresa is predeceased by her parents Lorenzo and Antonietta, her siblings Pietro (Yolanda) and Vincenzo (Angelina).

She was a long-time parishioner at St. Paschal Baylon Church. She had a zest for life and was deeply devoted to her children and grandchildren. Teresa loved her garden and spending time outside under the tree looking at her flowers.

The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the doctors at North York General, Dr. Lamb, Dr. Wen and Dr. Berlin, nurses Amanda and Tiffany, for their compassionate care. A deep thanks to Teresa's family physician Dr. Querengesser, her assistants Anna and Heedie, and her caregivers Yvonne and Fay, along with her PSW Sonia from St. Elizabeth Health Services.

Visitation will be held on Friday April 28, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 5-8 pm at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street in North York. Funeral Mass will take place Saturday April 29, 2023 at St. Paschal Baylon Church, 92 Steeles Avenue West in Thornhill, at 11 am. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Teresa's honour to the Diabetes Association, the Lung Association, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
