We were so shocked to hear what happened & to find out the way we did. I couldn't believe it. I remember Fatima very well as a young girl because my mom was a long time client of hers, since my mom came to Canada over 40 years ago, she always went to Fatima to get her hair cut. I enjoyed trips to get a cut or just hanging out in Salão Leal waiting for my mom to finish. Ashley, our hearts break for you and your family, our sincerest and deepest condolences for this tragic loss of your parents. May God rest their souls and give your family strength & peace to carry on. They will be missed tremendously.
With Love,
Familia Cordeiro

Valdemar was a model employee. His incredibly positive attitude, his love for roofing, and the pride he had in his work, made him one of the most respected individuals in our Atlas-Apex Family. At 71 years old, Valdemar was in his 29th year at Atlas-Apex and refused to walk away from his team. His loyalty was unparallel. Valdemar brought hope and joy to so many people around him. He will be greatly missed by his Atlas-Apex Family.

As Sokratis’ sister, I had the pleasure of knowing Valdemar and Fatima as my brothers Father-in-law and Mother-in-law. They were always so kind to myself and my family. My husband Riccardo also misses their conversations about wine and life. When you spoke to them, they made you feel so welcomed and at home. This is such a tragic loss of two outstanding, selfless, and genuine people. They will forever be missed and will continue to live in our hearts forever. We will all miss you so incredibly much. Thank you for touching the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing you.

I never met the couple but as Portuguese and far from my own parents I felt so sorry and sad after reading the story. I work really close to where was the accident and that day like other days I was to take that route but it was close because of that unfortunate accident! My thought and my prayers are with your family! I can not even imagine your pain! No words to express how sooty I feel. Be strong!!
