March 4, 1949 – May 11, 2022

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Young Sook Kim announces her passing on Wednesday, May 11th at the age of 73.
She passed peacefully at home as she had wished and will be forever remembered for her warmth, kindness and quirkiness, loved and deeply missed by all of her family and friends.
Beloved wife of Tae Soo in their 49th year of marriage. Cherished and supportive Mom of Edmond Kim, Linda Clarke (Steve), Danis Kim (Yuri). Loving and devoted Grandma to Abigail Clarke, Liam Clarke and 3rd grandchild due in August. Sister to younger siblings’ Lee, Yong-hwan; Lee Eun-Sook, Lee Yong-in. She will be missed by her much loved and supportive extended Kim family with many nieces and nephews. She was a faithful member of Milal Church.
The family will receive friends at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home (6191 Yonge St., North York, Ont.) on Monday, May 16, 2022. Visitation will be held for family at 10:00am and Friends at 10:30am until time of service at 11:00am. Then she will be laid to rest at York Cemetery (160 Beecroft Rd, North York, Ont.). A reception lunch to follow at 1:30pm at Sariwon Korean BBQ Restaurant (7388 Yonge St, Thornhill, Ont.). Out of respect for the family during COVID, please wear a mask if possible.

In lieu of flowers, your donation to Milal Church, Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
