

Born on April 12,1925 to the late Margit and György Benczik. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elisabeth Benczik, his loving sons Zoltan Benczik (Jeanette Benczik) and Leslie Benczik, adored grandchildren, Devin Benczik and Renèe Benczik, He will be dearly missed by his brother, George Benczik (Livia), niece Krisztina Benczik and nephew George Benczik.
Predeceased by sisters Ella and Zsuzsi, brothers Rudy, Mihaly, Arpad, and Sylveszter, sister-in-law Pia Rausch and brother-in-law Konrad Rausch.
Zoltan proudly owned and operated a landscaping business for over 35 years. He was a real estate investor and developer in Florida and Toronto. Zoltan was a member of Landscape Ontario and a Life Member of the Hungarian Cultural Centre.
The family would like to offer many thanks to the wonderful people at Bethany Lodge for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
A visitation for Zoltan will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON M2M4K4.
A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, 432 Sheppard Ave E., Toronto, ON M2N3B7. A committal service to take place at 2:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON L3T 2C7.
