Barbara Ann Stark

Barbara Ann Stark, our beloved and cherished matriarch, left us on September 4, 2024 at the age of 96. She was born on November 17, 1927 to Anthony Cimo and Effie Alfie Cimo in Waco, Texas. Here, she met the love of her life, her husband, Gara Straton Stark with whom she shared 66 years of marriage with. Barbara and Gara went on to have four lovely daughters, Suzanne Stark Perkins, Charlotte Stark Van de Ven, Melanie Stark Pickrell, and Pamela Jill Stark Barber. Her passions as a homemaker were cooking for her family and decorating her home.

Barbara Stark was preceded in death by her husband, Gara Stark, her sister, Patricia Hartmann, and her brother,Anthony Cimo, Jr.

In addition to her daughters, Barbara Stark is survived by her sister, Camille Cimo, her ten grand children, Eric Barber, Elaine Dooley, Samantha Perkins, Bryan Van de Ven, Gregory Pickrell, Steven Barber, David Barber, Nathan Pickrell, Kristen Henderson, Matthew Hendon, six great grand children, one great, great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Lloyd James Funeral Home on Monday, September 9, 2024 from 10am to 11am. Graveside services will follow at Cathedral of the Pines at 12pm.
