Beth Guthrie

Graveside services for Beth Guthrie, 68, of Tyler are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Jacksonville City Cemetery in Jacksonville with Rev. James Walker officiating under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Mrs. Guthrie passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012 in Tyler.

She was born on June 8, 1943 in Jacksonville to the late Willis Jesse and Agnes Orme Grant. She worked as a teacher assistant at Cain Elementary in Whitehouse for a number of years. She was member of Woods Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Tyler.

She is survived by her husband, Ruebin Guthrie; daughters Sherry Reed and husband Randy of Midlothian and Paula Guthrie and husband Walter of Tyler; grandchildren, Rebecca Reed of Waco, Austin Reed of Midlothian, Casey Freeman of Fort Collins, Colorado, Kelly Freeman and wife Donna of Daphne, Alabama and Corey Freeman of Dallas; brother Larry Grant of Kilgore and sister, Sybil White, of Tyler.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
