

Blake is survived by his mother, Laurie Larrew, of Tyler; father, Henrique Larrew, of Littleton, Colorado; brothers, Ricky Larrew, Lance Larrew, and William Larrew, of Tyler; sisters, Audrey Larrew and Amber Larrew, of Tyler; nieces, Channing Larrew, of Tyler, Shayla and Sophie Wade, of St. Louis, Missouri; nephew, Jack Bradshaw, of St. Louis, Missouri; and grandfather, Richard Sartain, of Troup. He was preceded in death by grandmother, Virleana Sartain, of Troup.
Blake was born on April 14, 1986, in Newport, Rhode Island to Laurie and Henrique Larrew. Blake attended Tyler Junior College. Blake worked for Rusk State Hospital, an inpatient hospital providing psychiatric treatment and care for residents, primarily from the East Texas region. He was a well-known power lifter and body builder who won multiple awards and titles including regional, state, and national records in power lifting. Blake also competed at the NASA World Championships in power lifting. Blake belonged to Metro Flex Gym in Tyler, Mother Frances, and Iron Gym in Jacksonville.
Blake was an accomplished musician and played all kinds of instruments including piano, guitar, stand up bass, and cello. He was a generous and dedicated man who loved serving his friends and who was passionate about changing the world. He was truly a protector of all. Blake was passionate about animals, especially horses. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Blake will be missed by many for he was loved by many.
A closed casket viewing will be held at Lloyd James Funeral Home on Friday, October 10, 2014, from 6 to 8 P.M. The funeral is scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 11, 2014, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1617 Shiloh Road in Tyler. Graveside services will follow in Knoxville Cemetery in Troup. A reception will follow at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1617 Shiloh Road in Tyler.
