Carl "Tooter" Netherland (How Sweet It Is)

Tooter married Barbara Boyd on August 6, 1965. He was the owner of Garage Doors of Tyler for many years. He was the most amazing husband, daddy, Paw-Paw, and Grand Paw-Paw. He was a man of many tales and stories, who loved life to the fullest.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and son, Peck Netherland.

Survivors include his wife Barbara of Tyler; son Carl Joe Netherland of Tyler; daughter Gayla and husband Daniel Sanchez of Tyler; grandchildren: Terra Hodge, Julie and James Ezell, Regan and Ben Davis, Carly Netherland and Josh Burling, Conner Netherland; great grandchildren: Tanner and Sassy Hodge, Britton and Carson Ezell, Ella Davis, and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 6:00-8:00pm at Lloyd James Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery, Tyler with Dr. Mike L. Daniels officiating.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Curbow, James Ezell, Ben Davis, Tanner Hodge, Britton Ezell, Carson Ezell, Conner Netherland, Josh Burling, and Blake Johnston.
