.Carol Thorburn Duckett, 78, of Tyler was born on October 10, 1938 to the late Edward and Jean Browne and passed away on December 7, 2016 in Tyler. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, December 17 at Lloyd James Funeral Home, 1011 E 1st St, Tyler, TX 75701 with Reverend Mitch Tollet officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to the service.
Carol received a bachelor degree in Speech Pathology from the University of North Texas in Denton. She was a dedicated and wonderful teacher and worked for Tyler ISD for over 40 years.
She is survived by her two children Ray Duckett and wife Lorie, and daughter, Katherine Baker; siblings Tom Brown and Allison Sinclair; grandchildren Ben Duckett and wife Emily, Michael Baker and wife Heather, Elizabeth Baker, William Baker, Allison Ridley and husband Ryan and three great grandchildren.
