Carolyn also know as Gran to me was such an extraordinary grandmother God filled her soul with beauty and strength . I remember when I was in college at TJC we would spend hours in her room talking about life, she would give me the best advice about everything, she was always there for me when I needed her. She was also the one who brought me closer to god by taking me to this amazing church on Sunday's. God really did give me the best grandmother I could ever ask for.

I am sad that Carolyn Clute has passed away. Carolyn and I worked together at Smith Baptist Association. We always had so much fun and I loved her very much. Carolyn always had that sweet smile and was eager to please all the time. Love to her family. Mable Hill

Her grandson, Bryce and I became best friends, like brothers. And she always treated me as such. I may not have been blood, but we were family, and I loved her. She will be sorely missed. Words cannot express how much. But she's still with us, in the memories and pieces of herself she left in our hearts.

Carolyn was one of my Mom’s dearest friends and one of the sweetest ladies I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Her smile, ALWAYS present, lit up the room when she entered. Much love to the family, especially John and Julie...
My “happy thought” is that the “2 Carolyns” are, at this very moment, in the presence of our Sweet Jesus...smiling...singing...at peace.

I have lost a friend that I have had for 30 years. We shared many ups and downs and supported each other when life took unexpected turns. Please tell her mother and sister in Pasadena that she spoke of them often and she felt very blessed to have them through the years. Wishing John and Julie peace and comfort - she loved her family dearly! I will miss her smile on this earth but look forward to seeing it again in Heaven..,.Gail K
