Christy Tonnetta Dennis

Funeral services for Christy Tonnetta Dennis, 41, of Tyler are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Johnny Williams and Pastor C. J. Gilbert officiating under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home. Burial is in Mt. Nevelton Cemetery in Bullard.

Christy passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014 in Tyler.

She was born on April 12, 1973 in Tyler to David and Christine Hudson Roy. She was the lead monitor tech at ETMC. Christy touched a lot of lives and everyone she met loved her. She made no one feel like a stranger and no one could match what she brought to everyone.

She is survived by her husband, Deshun Dennis, of Tyler; mother, Christine Pinkerton of Tyler; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernest and Anna Dennis of Tyler; sisters, Cheryl Roy of Tyler and Charnel Raseberry; brothers, Marcus Roy of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Mike Hudson of Huntsville; and Ronnie Hudson of North Carolina; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ernest Pinkerton, Marcus Roy, Ronnie Hudson, LaVert Raseberry, Chris Roy and David Roy.

Christy was preceded in death by her father and daughter, Zonnetta Tra’chel Owens.

Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 16, 2014, at the funeral home.
