

A Mass of Christian Burial for Consuelo Lozano, 89, of Tyler is scheduled for 5:00 P.M., Friday, June 24, 2016 at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Father Paul Key officiating. Visitation will be at 6:00 P.M., Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Lloyd James Funeral Home with Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be at Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
She passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from natural causes surrounded by family at home.
Consuelo was born on November 20, 1926 in Las Prietas, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Celso Viramontes and Petra Hernandez; sister, Angelita Viramontes; and brothers, Jose Viramontes and Pedro Viramontes.
Survivors include her husband, Juan Lozano, of Tyler; son and daughter-in-law, Enrique and Teresa Lozano; daughter and son-in-law, Alicia and Refugio Viramontes, of Tyler; grandchildren, Valarie L. Smith, of Georgia, Raquel Lozano, Enrique Lozano, Jr., and Eric Lozano, all of Tyler; step grandchildren, Sandra Gaytan, of Tyler, Lucinda Rosas, of Arkansas, Cynthia Holbrook, of Tyler and Benito Flores, Jr., of Alice; brother, Juan Viramontes and wife, Francisca, of Brownsville; and sister, Petra Colon, of Brownsville. Consuelo is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren; 5 step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Enrique Lozano, Jr., Eric Lozano, Damian Lozano, Victor Lozano, Ashton Lozano and John Boswell.
