Dave K. May

Services for Dave K May, 94, of Houston are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 14, 2012 at First Baptist Church Whitehouse TX with Rev. Dr. Ray Davis officiating. Burial is at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Mr. May passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 in Houston.

He was born on August 17, 1917 in Malvern Arkansas to the late Dave K. May and Mattie Rowland May. He was a WWII Merchant Marine Veteran –Pacific Theater. He was a master carpenter and woodworker working as a supervisor for building and construction throughout the United States.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora May.

He is survived by his children; Tina Washco of Houston TX, Paul May of Donie, TX, Dave K. May of Enid, OK, Judy Holloway of Lake Way TX, Carlotta Watson of Flower mound TX, his step children Sherry Montero Ericson of Albuquerque, NM, Rusty Brown of Seattle, WA as well as 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
