Services for David H. Clanton, 88, of Tyler are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2016 with Dr. Stan Toussaint officiating in the chapel at Lloyd James Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, 560 Evergreen Street, Paris at 4:00 p.m.
He passed away on Tuesday, May 17 in Tyler.
David was born on February 1, 1928 in Paris to the late Lee Roy and Bessie Weikel Clanton. He served in the Naval Reserve and was a printer/computer programmer.
He is survived by daughter, Jane Clanton, Tyler; son, David A. Clanton and wife, Cindi, Florence, Texas; son, Mark D. Clanton, Tyler; grandchildren: Brooke Duhon, Dr. David B. Clanton, Timothy Clanton, Candace Tottenham, and Tiffany Clanton; great-grandchildren: Brianna Duhon, Braze Duhon, David W. Clanton, Lilly Clanton, Parker Tottenham, Lawson Tottenham, Dilan Clanton and Colton Clanton.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the funeral home.
