Delcie Marie Driggers

Graveside Services for Delcie Marie Driggers, 88, of Tyler, are scheduled for 4:00 P.M., Saturday, July 18, 2015, in Union Chapel Cemetery in Van with Bro. David Martin officiating. Lloyd James Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Marie passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, in Tyler.

She was born on August 7, 1926, in Van to the late Milton and Obera Camper Gilley.

Marie loved to crochet and loved her pets. She was a very caring and loving woman to everyone. She also loved to cook for her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Betty Colston and husband Ron, of Nacogdoches, and Beverly Alford and husband Ronny, of Tyler; sons, Bobby Driggers and wife Denise, of Gilmer, and Benny Driggers, of Tyler. She was known as “Mammaw” to her nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Driggers; son, Billy Driggers; and grandsons, Brandon and Phillip Driggers.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2015, at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
