Dianne Sims Leeson

Dianne S. Leeson, age 64 of Tyler, Texas passed away Thursday September 18th 2025 at her home. She’s not suffering anymore from her cancer, She was saved and is in heaven. She was a very private person although she asked about her family and talked about her friends especially Bro. Davy and her long-time friend Sammy. Dianne loved her 2 dogs Sassy and Junior, they were her babies. Dianne loved her sister Kathleen and would have burgers weekly until she became too sick. She loved the Lord and read her bible daily.

Dianne was born in Lufkin, Texas on January 28th, 1961 to Ivy Franklin and Lucille Sims at Lufkin Memorial Hospital.

Preceding Dianne in death are her parents Ivy Franklin Sims and Lucille Katherine Sills, brother Kenneth Wayne Sims and grandparents Charlie and Thelma Evans.

Dianne is survived by her sister Kathleen Parrish of Lindale, nephews Lance Adams of Louisiana and Chad Adams of Whitehouse,Texas and several great nephews and nieces.

A Memorial service for Dianne will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Lloyd James Funeral Home with Bro. Davy Smith officiating.
