

Memorial services for Elizabeth Rice Warren are scheduled for 1:30 pm, Monday, September 8, 2014 at Christ Episcopal Church, with Rev. David Luckenbach officiating. Arrangements under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mrs. Warren died on Thursday, September 4, 2014 in Tyler, at the age of 88 years old; she was born December 23, 1925 in Graham, Texas to Finley and Lois Morrison Scruggs.
She was an active member of the Christ Episcopal Church for 58 years; she was an Altar Guild and a member of the Ladies Bible study. Mrs. Warren was a member of the Tyler Junior League, Badminton Club, and a volunteer at Tyler Museum of Art. She enjoyed playing Mah Jongg. She loved animals especially her dog “Sugar”.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fredrick Warren, her parents and son James Randolph Rice.
Her survivors include son Robin Rice, Tyler; daughter and son-in-law, Finley and Al Wood, of New Mexico; grandson and his wife, James R. and Candice Rice Jr. of Rowlett, Texas; great grandson Dylan Rice; step-daughter and husband, Caroline and David Hundey of Dallas; step-daughter and husband, Mary and Ken Carter of Houston, step-son and wife, Mark and Ann Warren of Missouri and step-grandchildren, Hal, Will, Mary Rose, Fred and Mary Grace.
