Ethelyn Anderson Fisher

She is survived by her husband Robert Fisher; Daughters Leslie Fisher and Robin Fisher; son Gregory Fisher and wife Joanne; Granddaughters Kelly Fisher and Holly Fisher; Sister Mary Ruth Blanton, and brother Walter Virden III. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from SFASU and a Master's Degree from Texas Eastern University.

After many years of teaching middle school, she retired from TISD in 2004. Her retirement years centered on continuous volunteer service at St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry and other local organisations.

Visitation and Rosary will be at 6:00 PM Sunday, July 24, at Lloyd James Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM Monday, July 25, at Immaculate Conception Cathedral followed by burial at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tyler.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society in Tyler.
