

A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 am.
A Committal Service will be held at Cathedral In The Pines Memorial Gardens, in Tyler.
Evelyn Mae Raska Hulme, went to meet Jesus on July 22, 2026 at the age of 94. She was born in Sinton Texas to Louis and Emma Kasper Raska. She was the oldest of four children and the only girl. She grew up on a farm and worked hard her whole life. Evelyn met her husband, JT Hulme, and they were married almost 64 years. She was always involved in church work. When VBS came, she worked for years in it. Women's Missionary Union was a very big part of her life. She also taught children and women in Sunday school.She made her salvation decision as a young woman.She loved the Lord. Evelyn was a compassionate person and cared about people. She never met a stranger. Family was very important to her. She loved her children, grandchildren,and great grandchildren and loved to be around them. Cooking and gardening was something she loved to do. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughter Grace (Alan) Schantz and son Daniel (Shari) Hulme and grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also has two brothers Raymond (Shirley) Raska and Jimmy (Betta) Raska. Special thanks goes to Kindful Hospice who took very good care of her. Also, thanks to Country Place Assisted Living and Country Place Memory Care.
