Faye Oxford

Faye Oxford, age 94, of Tyler, passed away on October 24, 2017. She was born in Palestine to James Fredrick Dunnahoe and Ima Leona Woody on September 21, 1923. Visitation will be held at Lloyd James Funeral Home on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 5-7pm. Funeral service will be on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 2:00pm, at Lloyd James Funeral Home, officiated by Josh Blizzard.

Faye was a special lady to all and loved gardening, cooking and sewing but most of all she loved her family and they loved her back. She was a member of Lanes Chapel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her brother, W.D. Dunnahoe of North Carolina, her grandchildren, Mandy Rodriguez and husband Jerry of Tyler, Colin Oxford and wife Sarah of Bullard, Winter Oxford of Jacksonville, her great-grandchildren, Brittany Rodriguez, Mason Rodriguez, Chase Oxford, Bentley Oxford, and Chevy Gilstrap.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earl Thomas Oxford, her son Donald Oxford, her sister, Lorraine Wright and her brother, James Dunnahoe.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Dunnahoe, Scooter Bedre, Eddie Ray Bedre, Brannon Wright, Jerry Gilmore, and Mike Oxford.
