

She was born on October 25, 1950 in Quezon Province, Philippines to Gregorio and Natividad Hernandez. Florinda was raised in Pagbilao, Quezon and attended Cabanatuan City Colleges when she was 20 years old. She married Renato Pancho in 1975 and the couple had 3 children. She was a Senior Agrarian Reform Program Technologist (ARPT) at Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija, Philippines where she worked for more than 40 years.
In her spare time, Florinda enjoyed cooking, watching soap opera on TV, fashion, decorating the house, and cleaning. She was independent in raising all her children as a single parent all by herself when her husband passed away at a young age. She was hard-working and dedicated to her work, serving 40 years in her career. Her family will always remember her as a kind, beautiful, resilient, hardworking, and independent person.
Florinda is survived by her loving children Lailane, Chad, and Ross, and all their immediate and extended families.
A visitation for Florinda will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lloyd James Funeral Home, 1011 East First Street, Tyler, TX 75701. A rosary will begin at 7:00PM. A celebration of life will occur Monday, February 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Whitehouse, TX, located at 903 E. Main Street, Whitehouse, TX 75791. A graveside service will follow at Cathedral In The Pines Memorial Garden, 7825 S. Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX 75703.
