Gloria Beckham Horton

Gloria was adored by everyone who met her, she could light up a room just by walking in it. She cared very deeply for people and was a kind-hearted soul. Gloria had the most beautiful blue eyes. She enjoyed shopping and playing the slot machines in her free time. Gloria was passionate about animals and planting, especially flowers. Most of all, she loved her family and spending precious time with them. Gloria will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Gloria is survived by children Deborah (Lyndon) White, Don (Josie) Horton, and Linda Horton; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and fur babies; and her special caregiver Jennifer Fair.

Gloria is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Carlton Horton; parents James Trumer and Odessa Beckham; and daughter Betty Jean Permenter.

A graveside service for Gloria will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Oak Lawn Memorial Park in Center, Texas.
