

Grady Lovvorn Stewart, 95 passed peacefully away on Friday, June 6, 2025 at his home in Tyler. A celebration of his life will take place at Lloyd James Funeral Home, 1011 E 1st Street, Tyler, Texas 75701 on June 14, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
He served his country in the United States Air Force from Oct, 1952 to September, 1956. He retired from General Electric (TRANE), and in later years served his community volunteering at Meals on Wheels for 6 years. He was famously known as "Mr. Wednesday". He donated approximately 35 gallons of blood to Stewart Blood Center. He volunteered at Hospice of East Texas spending 20 years loving every minute of the job made for him surrounded by his loving co-workers.
He is survived by his loving wife, Larie Nolley Stewart; his children, Elaine Stewart Richardson (Eddie), Gary Stewart (Sandy), Kevin Stewart, Dean Stewart, Darin Stewart (Clint), Doug Jenkins (Ty), Wesley Jenkins (Rene), Kristie Broyles (Keith); Brother, Lee Stewart (Suzy); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will forever remember his life stories and his hugs for PaPa's Little Man-girl or boy.
He was preceded in death by 7 siblings and his son, Shane Jenkins.
He was a guiding light, a gentle soul who taught us the value of humility, grace and good hugs. His hugs were immeasurable. His voice, his laughter, and that sweet smile warmed our hearts. His wisdom shaped our lives, and his presence made the world a better place.
