Janet Ann "Mashooshoo" Hitt, 81, passed away suddenly on November 25, 2025. She was born on December 31, 1943, in Lamesa, Texas-- a day of celebration that matched the joy she brought to the world.
Janet shared 62 wonderful years with her husband, Bob, the love of her life, who predeceased her two years ago. A devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Janet is survived by her daughter, Breann, her son, Brent, grandchildren, Hayley, Rudy and Jake, and great-grandchildren, Devin, Maximus, Luciano, Jameson and Bella.
May her soul rest peacefully, wrapped once again in the arms of the love of her life.
A Time of Visitation and Gathering will be held at Lloyd James Funeral Home, located at 1011 E 1st St, Tyler, Texas, 75701, on December 3, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
A Committal Service will follow at Sand Flat Cemetery, situated at 793 County Rd 313 W, Tyler, TX, 75706, starting at 1:30 pm on the same day.
