Jean Melrose Conroy

Jean Melrose Conroy age 98 year’s residing in Tyler Texas, passed away May 10th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Jean was born April 2nd, 1927, in Malden Massachusetts, the daughter of William and Jean Melrose Musker. Jean was married to William F. Conroy on Sept 11th, 1948, and was happily married for 63 years.

She enjoyed many hobbies and was a second soprano in the celebration choir for over 45 years at Green Acres Baptist Church. She taught English to the international students and was a member of the intercessory prayer ministry.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, William Conroy. Jean is survived by her 4 daughters, Debbie and son in law, Mike Martens, Susan and son-in-law, Doug Robb, Nancy and son in law, Tony Tijerina , Lori, and son in law, Darrell Cook. Her extended family includes 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

A service to Celebrate Jean’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2025 at Lloyd James Funeral Home. The family will gather at 10 am prior to the service to receive friends. Jean will be laid to rest at Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
