I loved being around Jerry. Even today just thinking of him brings a smile to my face. He was always a positive influence for me and his passion for golf was only surpassed by his passion for friends and family. I am truly sorry I failed to keep in touch with him because he meant a lot to me. Jerry you will be missed by many and that's the greatest tribute there is.

Jerry Hobson was very special in so many ways to many people. He taught me so much, all of which I carry with me today. Jerry was my leader at Bankers Systems but most of all a great friend. Our love goes out to all of Jerry's family.

My prayers and condolences go out to Jerry's family. I also worked with Jerry at Bankers Systems for several years. Jerry was a tremendous friend and he was a tremendous support when challenges, whether in our work or personal lives, arose. I will always remember his sense of humor, the debates we had, but most importantly, his kindness. Jerry was a true friend and will be missed.

Jerry and I were best friends for many years growing up in Minden. We spent hours learning the words to Beatle songs, chasing the girls, throwing a paper route, and generally having a good time. He was always fun and smart, at the same time. It was great seeing him at our past reunion and even getting to go to his place in Shreveport for the day. He was always a welcoming, friendly person. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family and friends. I am sure God has a special place for Jerry.
