Jo Lowery

Mrs. Jo Lowery died August 4, 2013 at her residence. She was born Nov. 19, 1916 in Gadsden Alabama, lived in Phoenix Arizona and Cumberland Maryland. In 1960 she and her husband Henry Lowery moved to Tyler in order to open the Kelly Springfield Tire Plant.

Jo was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tyler, Willow Brook Ladies Golf Association, The Women's Symphony League. Jo loved gardening at her home, cooking and entertaining for friends and playing golf. She had 5 holes in one!

Survivors include her husband Henry H. Lowery and two sons Dr. Thomas A. Lowery and wife June, Roger Peyton Lowery and wife Gay. Three grandchildren Chris Lowery, Allison Davidson and husband Byron, Drew Lowery and wife Laurie. Three great

grandchildren include Caroline and Claire Davidson and Luke Henry Lowery.

A private burial will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home with Dr. Baskin officiating.
