Funeral services for John Blank, Jr. of Rusk are scheduled for Saturday, March 7th, 2026, at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church of Rusk, Texas. Brian Grimes with officiate. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

John passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2026.

John is survived by his daughters, Deborah Blank of Rusk and Lisa Stoos and husband Jim of Riverside, Texas, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, four sisters and a brother-in-law.

He is preceded in death by his wife of sixty years, Patricia Rogers Blank, his parent and three sisters.

John was born in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Rusk High School in 1954. He graduated from Arlington State College in 1956. He and Pat were married in 1959. They lived in Abilene, Texas where he worked for the FAA for 36 years. He was a Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Masons for over sixty years and Eastern Star for over fifty years.

The family will receive visitors from 10:00am to 11:00am, Saturday, March 7th at First Baptist Church, Rusk.

Charitable contributions to the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in his honor are appreciated.
