John Roberson

John Roberson, age 71, of Whitehouse, TX passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025. John was born on July 9, 1953 in Tyler, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Betty Roberson of Tyler and brothers Bobby Roberson of Tyler and Perry Roberson of Kilgore. He is survived by his wife, Mickie Gilbreath of Tyler, sister, Betty Spencer, brother in law Stan Spencer of Athens, TX, sister in law, Shari and her husband Mike Wendland; nephew, Clayton Bekker; nieces, Maegan McAdams and Laura Gilbreath and great niece Lillian McAdams.

He loved to go fishing and was a great storyteller. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Pallbearers for the service will be Kelly Smith, Chris Sexton, Harold Jackson, Keith Lane, Marcos Cruz and David Walborn. Honorary Pallbearers Younes Khamir, Mike Wendland and Wayne Russell.

A visitation for John will be held Monday, April 28, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lloyd James Funeral Home, 1011 East First Street, Tyler, TX . A funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 11:00 AM, 1011 East First Street, Tyler, TX 757013308. A committal service will occur at Williams Cemetery, Tyler, TX 75707.
