John Riley Robinson

Funeral Services for John Riley Robinson, 75, of Tyler are scheduled for 1:00 pm, Friday, November 2, 2018 in the chapel of Lloyd James Funeral Home with Charles Dodson officiating. Burial will be in Pine Springs Cemetery.

He passed away on October 29, 2018 in Tyler.

John was born on March 22, 1943 in El Paso to the late John W. Robinson and Helen Louise Center Robinson, where he was the oldest of his four siblings.

John served on the Pine Springs Cemetery Board. He also served as deacon at Pine Springs Baptist and The Woods Baptist Church. John was a member of the Masonic Lodge #1233, Scottish Rite and the Shrine. He was a loving son, brother husband, and grandfather. John was loved by many and will surely be missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Ann and Linda and his brother Bob. He is survived by his lovely wife Nancy; daughter Nicole and son-in-law Scott Blalock; son Robert and daughter-in-law Terri Robinson; two grandchildren Mason Tyler Blalock and Ashley Mae Blalock and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 pm.
