He passed away on October 28, 2017 in Tyler.
Mr. Rush was born on July 18, 1928 in Grand Saline to the late Jonathan Rush Sr. and Iola Duke Rush. He was a retired fork-lift operator from the company Carrier.
Mr. Rush is survived by his daughter, Romona Gale Rush Booth, his son Johnny Earl Rush, his grandchildren, Linda, April, Sandra, Jennifer, Virginia, Johnny, Barry, Charles (Chuck), Isha and Nicole. He is also survived by twenty-three great grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Lee Rush, his daughter Betty Nell Kendell; and his grandson Brian Walker.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
