

Born in Alabama, and raised in east Texas, Mrs. Weaver married the love of her life, D.C. ‘Carl’ Weaver in 1939. Together for 45 years, they ran several successful businesses in the Tyler area. Mrs. Weaver had recently sold Weaver Rentals. With her husband, she had travelled extensively throughout the U.S., especially enjoying the national parks of the west.
For much of her life she had been a member of Temple Baptist Church, serving as treasurer for many years. More recently, she had been a member of Calvary Baptist Church, supporting and enjoying the Betty Stainback class.
Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her husband, D.C. Weaver (1985) and her daughter, Carla Ann Weaver Long (2004).
Mrs. Weaver is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Lynda Weaver-Williams and Dr. Samuel F. Williams of Richmond, Virginia, granddaughter Angela Hawkins, her husband Brad and daughter Ashley, of Tyler, granddaughters Lesle Brewer and Dayze Long, also of Tyler, grandsons Aaron Williams of Richmond, Virginia and Free Williams of Williamsburg, Virginia.
Services will be at Lloyd James on Tuesday, January 31 at 11:00, officiated by Dr. Samuel F. Williams. Internment will be at Tyler Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Monday evening, January 30, from 6-8
