

Juanita Halbrook Tidmore, age 86, of Tyler, went home to be with the Lord in the late evening hours of Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in Tyler. She was born on September 28, 1926 in Martins Mill, Texas to Jerome (Romie) Kirby and Lena V.O. Halbrook; they preceded her in death. Following high school, Juanita attended beauty school and married the love of her life and her best friend, William Tidmore in Athens, Texas on September 5, 1948. Together they raised a family, owned and operated Tidmore Auto Parts in Tyler, and lived a lifetime of memories until his passing on April 11, 2012. They were members of the Noonday Baptist Church. Juanita was a wonderful, southern lady, full of poise and class who set the example for all to follow. Her devotion and love for her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings and friends will be remembered and missed for years to come.
She is survived by one daughter, Leatha Ann Bishop, and husband Keith, of Tyler; sons, Kelly Tidmore, and wife Anneliese, of Little rock, Arkansas, David Myron Tidmore of Tyler, and Reginald Lee Tidmore, and wife Carrie, of Tyler; brother, James Harlon Halbrook, and wife Faye, of Tyler; grandchildren, Jeremy Tidmore, Elana Tidmore, Chris Tidmore, Heather Tidmore, Bailey Tidmore, and Lacey Bishop; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Tidmore, Andrew Tidmore, Matthew Tidmore, William Tidmore, and Lucas Tidmore.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Reginald Dwain Halbrook, and a daughter-in-law, Doris Ann Tidmore.
Services for Juanita Tidmore will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Lloyd James Funeral Home with Brother Park Robertson, Brother Jerry Hawbaker, and David Tidmore officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Athens at 2:00 P.M., Saturday afternoon.
