Services for Karen Ann DeRamus, 53, of Tyler are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Dykes officiating with burial to follow at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery.
Mrs. DeRamus passed away on May 11, 2011 in Tyler.
She was born on December 5, 1957 to Ronny E. and Wanda J. Frisby Bailey. She was a life-long resident of Tyler. She had a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in psychology from U. T. Tyler. She was the Program Director of East Texas Crisis Center and past case Supervisor for CASA for Kids of East Texas. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church.
She is survived by her father and mother, Ronny E. and Wanda Bailey of Tyler, daughter, Courtney White and husband Brian of Ft. Worth, two brothers, Steve Bailey and wife Julie of Edom and Phillip Bailey of Livingston, two grandchildren, Brayden and Madison White, two nephews, Phil and wife Kelly Bailey and Layne Babin and one niece Kelcey Babin.
Pallbearers will be Phil Bailey, Matthew Lee, Eric Mount, Terry Reid, Layne Babin, Tim Langston and Tim Langston Jr.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home
