Karen Marie Duffey

Karen was born on May 15, 1955, in Tyler, Tx. to O.L & Lois Fielder. She was a beloved daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, mother, grandmother and friend to many.

Mrs. Duffey was preceded in death by both parents, O.L. & Lois Fielder and niece, Leah E. Paxton.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Duffey; son, Cregg Duffey; daughters, Sandy Duffey, April Golden; five grandchildren, Katlyn Duffey, Corey DeArmint, Lyndon Golden, Jaycie & Rylie Duffey; two brothers, Barry and Trey Fielder,;one sister, Susan Paxton; 4 nieces and 1 nephew.

She was fun loving, witty, outgoing and a determined person. She was the pillar for advice, knowledge and was the life and strength to our family. She loved her tea after a long day, morning coffee on the front porch and family gatherings. Her joy was her family, and she will be greatly missed.

A memorial service to celebrate Karen's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2025 in the Chapel of Lloyd James Funeral Home with Rev. David Hickey officiating.
