I will miss you always my sweet friend. I pray you are in heaven with Thai and Jonas rejoicing and laughing. 
Thank you for your years of friendship and helping me navigate being an RA that first semester.

This is hard for me write because I never thought this could happen. I lost my best friend this year my sweet friend Karyn was so kind and welcoming of me. She was someone I can talk when I was in distress, she was someone I can walk up to.  She will be missed and I don't think I'll ever meet another Lady like Karyn Mears.  I'm fortunate to have a friend like Karyn I used to tell her a lot about my goals and ambitions and career paths I had trouble pursuing. She is very proud and I am glad to of have her alive still when she saw me overcome. My best memories with Karyn is the conversations I've had and how nurturing she was when I just needed someone to talk. I really am going to miss her and I feel lost now.  

My best way to honor my friend Karyn who will always be in my heart as a good friend as much as she said the same is to keep going and don't fret. That I will do my best to do.  

Goodbye Karyn my sweet friend I hope you find peace I will not forget you and I will love you always.

Karyn was truly a beautiful soul!  So much fun to work with and dedicated to the success of the team. She was always willing to go the extra mile to answer a question and ensure understanding.  I enjoyed her light sense of humor and our shared love of animals. Her warm nature put everyone at ease. She will truly be missed, I know that she has her wings.

Dear Karyn, I was saddened to hear we lost you. You were always so kind and so sweet. I remember well our time together overnights some years ago and you never hesitated to share a kind word and lend a helping hand. Gone too soon but you will be cherished in memory. My deepest sympathy to Karyn's family for your loss. Karyn was an amazing person. She was a light for a lot of people. She never hesitated to offer her help should anyone need it. I remember The first time I ever met Karyn, about 8yrs ago now, she sat down beside me at a gathering we were at and she and 2 of our mutual friends and I sat and talked for multiple hrs. She made me feel welcomed in a gathering where I knew maybe 4 people. She settled my anxiety and I knew that day that she was an amazing person as well as a someone I really wanted to know. She has remained a friend very close to my heart all these years. She will be so missed by many and always in our hearts!!

Words cannot express how much I will miss Karyn. I always looked forward to working on projects with her. She was witty, smart, encouraging and we shared the love for similar movies, animals and funny decor. 

To her family, I will keep you in my prayers for comfort during this difficult time.

I was deeply saddened to hear about this loss. During our overnight shifts and time in retention, I always admired Karen's dedication and enthusiasm, especially when she transitioned to the trainer role. Her excitement and passion for helping learners excel were truly inspiring.
Even though we work in different departments now, I cherish the moments when we exchanged tips and tricks to support our learners. Her positive impact on everyone around her is undeniable.
Please know that my thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.

Karyn's welcoming and loving spirit has touched and embraced so many people. She stood up for injustices with a strong backbone. Karyn believed in doing the right thing. She has always been a friend to anyone that needed one.  I'll miss her infectious smile, laugh and long late night chats.

Karyn was one of the kindest, smartest human beings I've met. She cared about people and was exceptionally intelligent. She was always willing to help and was an outstanding teacher, coach, team player and mentor. I had the luck of working with Karyn at two different jobs over the years. She was always the proverbial smartest person in the room and was willing to share her knowledge because she sincerely wanted to help people.  She had a great sense of humor and was kind to everyone she met. It's difficult to put into words how much she positively affected our teams at work. She was a cornerstone of our development as a department and an excellent trainer, teacher and mentor. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. I'm honored to say that she was my friend as well. I'm going to miss Karyn immensely.
