Kelsi Logan Neeley was born November 7, 1998 to Michael and Tammi Neeley and on January 6, 2025 at around 12:15 a.m. our precious little girl tragically left our side. Kelsi was an amazing young lady. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Linda Orcutt Winiger and by paternal grandparents, Harvie and Gloria Neeley; uncle, Johnny Neeley; cousin, Dana Gordon and special friend, Haley Lombardo.
She leaves behind parents, Michael and Tammi Neeley; her son, Lane Michael Benson Neeley all of Jacksonville; sister and brother-in-law, Shelbi and Dylan Chavez of Jacksonville and the Love of her life, Fiancé, Wade Tyler Johnston of Tyler.
Kelsi was a bubbly person; she never met a stranger in her lifetime. She never hurt anyone, and she was always the one with the biggest smile in the room, always going 90 to nothing all the time. She was always the one to do new things others were too afraid to do. She’d give the shirt off her back if you were in need or break the bank to get you what you needed. That’s how big her heart was. Most importantly, Kelsi loved her son, family, and friends so much. All she wanted to do all the time was play family games or drink coffee on the front porch, looking out at the horses in 20-degree weather with the fireplace on. Just spending time with the ones she loved made her happy! Kelsi is so missed by so many people, but she’s with the Lord now. She’s with all of our family and friends that have passed. I just know when she got there, so many people were waiting on her to walk through the golden gates.
Services will be at J Bar C Cowboy church 9530 FM 855 Bullard, with Visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 16, 2025 and services starting at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Mike Blumm officiating, under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Loftin Cemetery in Teaselville.
