

Services for Lawrence “Larry” Caraway, 56 of Tyler, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2021 in the Chapel of Lloyd James Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Ward officiating. Burial will be at Williams Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service in the chapel.
Larry passed away on Saturday, October 23rd in Tyler. He was born June 24, 1965 in San Diego, California. He served 5 years in the U.S. Army and followed serving 2 years in the Reserves. He loved his military service.
Larry and his wife Tena had a very special relationship. He was the love of her life and partner. He took very good care of her and the grandkids. He was much loved at work at ETTL in Tyler. He loved to cook, even though he hasn’t been able to eat much since his illness and liked watching cooking shows. He loved playing guitar, spending time with his family and kids, being in the pool, loved the holidays and was always the life of the party.
He is survived by his wife, Tena Caraway; step-father, Leo Keys; son, Alexander Caraway and wife, Shannon; Step sons, Jonathan and Joshua Kay; brother, Doug Caraway; sisters, Carla Ciridetia and Linda Sinclair; four grandchildren and several niece and nephews.
