Lillian (Lynn) M. Ihrer, a cherished 78-year-old, peacefully departed from this world in Bulverde, Texas, on Thursday, October 15, 2026. Born on August 23, 1948, in Tyler, Texas, Lynn was a devoted mother and grandmother who held her family in the highest regard. In 1999, she relocated to Austin, Texas, to be closer to her grandchildren, demonstrating her unwavering love and commitment to her family.
Lynn was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Terry M. Ihrer, her parents, Harold and Opal (Thornton) Herron, her brother, Steve Herron, and her sister, Barbara Jones. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, survived by her daughters, Kim Siepert (married to Brian) and Christy Simpson (married to David), and her cherished grandchildren, Jake Siepert, Shelly Simpson, and Halie Siepert. She is also survived by her sister Pat Williams and several nieces and nephews.
Lynn’s life was a tapestry of love, family, and cherished memories, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held in Tyler, Texas, at Lloyd James Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. A chapel service will follow at 12:00 p.m., followed by a burial at 1:30 p.m. at Cathedral of the Pines Cemetery.
