Linda Jean Kirkley

She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed working in her yard, especially with flowers. Linda loved camping and spending time outdoors.

Linda was a member of the Rose Heights Church in Tyler.

She is survived by her children, Wayne Kirkley, Jr. and wife Kelley, Judy Kirkley Smith and husband Randy, Dennis Kirkley and wife ReNee, all of Tyler, and Allen Kirkley and wife Debbie of Bullard; grandchildren, Corey Smith and wife Brittney of Price, Lacy Steele and husband Bo of Troup, David Kirkley and wife Emily of Bullard, Brandy Fisher and husband Ryan of Brownsboro, Brittany Kirkley of Tyler, Desiree Swiney and husband Noah of Corpus Christi, Emma Fuller of Tyler, Kevin Fuller of Tyler, and Krystal Fuller of Nacogdoches; great-grandchildren, Randi Smith of Tyler, Madison, Laney, and Wade Smith of Price, Sawyer, Savanna, and Sean Steele of Troup, Braden and wife Haley Fisher, Jacob, and Natalie Fisher of Brownsboro, Carlee, Meyson, and Case Kirkley of Bullard, Lillyann and Gunner Hogland of Jacksonville, Everette Swiney of Corpus Christi, and Riley Murphy of Nacogdoches; and great-great-granddaughters, Lera and Luna Fisher of Brownsboro.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; Ed and Lerline (Downing) Miller; her husband of 65 years, Harmon Wayne Kirkley, Sr.; and grandsons, Sean Smith and Kevin Smith.

Family will greet friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at Lloyd James Funeral Home, 1011 East First Street, Tyler, TX 75701, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Bo Richardson. Interment will follow at Williams Cemetery, New Chapel Hill, TX.
