

On August 11, 2016 Louise Campbell, 96 passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was born December 3, 1919 in Atlanta, Texas to Butrous and Nora Campbell. She was raised in Tyler and attended Tyler Public schools and Commercial College.
She started her career with the U. S. Department of Conservation Office in Tyler, then went on to Humble Oil (now Exxon) for numerous years until she retired.
She was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, the Altar Society, the Cedars of Lebanon Club, and Desk and Derrick.
She was preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters; Lewis, Paul, Burke, Joe, John, Philip, William (Mose) Sadie Campbell and Marie Campbell Saleh. She is survived by 20 nieces and nephews; many grandnieces and nephews, great-grandnieces and nephews, plus many cousins.
"Aunt Louise" (along with her sister "Aunt Sadie") helped raise many of her nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews over her many years.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 14, 2016 followed by a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, August 15, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Burial will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery immediately after the mass.
Pallbearers include all her nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
The family wishes to thank Martha Heggins for her loving concern, devotion and assistance to Louise for the last 14 plus years.
We also appreciate the care that Providence Park Nursing Home and The Hospice of East Texas provided to her and the family.
