Loyd Lee Waterman

Loyd Lee Waterman, 81, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018. Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 22nd beginning at 1 pm at Lloyd James Funeral Home with the funeral following at 2 pm with officiants Chaplains Mike Lusk and Russ Jackson. Burial is at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro at 4 pm.

Loyd was born on September 5, 1937 in Tyler to Leroy and Mary Battenfield Waterman. He was an Army veteran, a sergeant with the Tyler Police Department, a constable for Smith County and retired from Waterman Electric.

Loyd is survived by his loving family including wife Brenda of Tyler; sons Jeff (Cindy) Waterman of Bullard, Jon (Lori) Waterman of Chandler and Sean (Alicia) Waterman of Lindale; grandchildren Ashley Waterman, Logen Waterman, Joshua Waterman (fiancée Ashlie Level), Taylor Waterman, Haley Waterman and Baby Waterman; brother George (Judy) Waterman of Michigan and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Loyd’s honor to The Tyler Police Department Foundation, 711 West Ferguson Str., Tyler, Texas 75702 or Friendly Baptist Church, 1903 E Front St, Tyler, Texas 75702.
