Lucas "Luke" Connor Vazquez

Lucas "Luke" Connor Vazquez of Tyler, TX passed away on February 26, 2022 at the age of 20. He was born on July 9, 2001 in Nashville, TN and spent most of his childhood years in Quitman, TX. Luke graduated as Valedictorian from Union Hill High School in Bettie, TX in 2019. He was enrolled at UT @ Tyler as a Computer Science major but was going to change to Mathematics in the Fall. He worked full time at Target Warehouse in Lindale, TX. He loved to play video games and listen to music, liked everything related to DC and Marvel, and enjoyed spending his time with his family, friends, and his two dogs, Gimli and Tequila. Luke is preceded in death by his grandfathers, David Schoonover Sr. and Hector Vazquez, and his grandmother, Ramona Villanueva. He is survived by his parents, German and Kim Vazquez, older sister, Allison, younger sister, Gabriella, grandmothers, Lorraine Schoonover and Nereida Alomar, and Aubry Buchanan who was like an older brother to him. He also leaves behind many cousins, aunts, and uncles located in Puerto Rico and Tennessee, as well as several close friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial in Celebration of Luke’s Life at Lloyd James Funeral Home located at 1011 E 1st St, Tyler, TX 75701 on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 12 pm.
