

A funeral Mass for Lynn Ray Kersh will take place Wednesday, March 20th at 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Hank Lanik officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Kersh Passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 in Tyler. He was born February 20, 1934 in the Mixon Community to the late Lloyd and Cora Lee Kersh.
Our Papaw loved his family and being with his grandchildren. He retired from Kelly Springfield in 1999 after 31 years. He enjoyed raising cattle along with gardening, he maintained a beautiful rose bed for many years. He was a loyal Dallas Cowboys & Texas Ranger fan. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorlyn Sue Brummer Kersh in January of 2021; and by a grandson Jeremy Kersh. He is survived by his children, Brenda and Lynn Hogan, Brad Kersh and Rhonda Hester, Scott and Kim Kersh, Karla Price, Janette and Mitch Johnson, He was also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and other close family members.
A visitation Rosary will take place on Tuesday, March 19 @ Lloyd James Funeral Home 5-7 pm followed by a Rosary @ 7 pm, with Deacon Bill Necessary officiating.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Josh Kersh, Brandon Kersh, Ryan Kersh, Zach Hayes, Lance Price, Matthew Hogan and Jarod Hogan.
