

Graveside services for Margaret Ballard Epstein, 88, of Flint, will be 1:30PM Wednesday, August 6, 2014, in Rose Hill Cemetery with a memorial service at 12:00 Noon at Noonday United Methodist Church with Rev. Royce Savage and Rabbi Neal Katz officiating.
Mrs. Epstein was born on February 28, 1926, in Dallas to Victor Merrill and Lena Rivers Martin Ballard and passed away on August 3, 2014 in Tyler. Mrs. Epstein had lived in the Tyler area since 1981, was the church organist for many years at the Noonday United Methodist Church, worked for Chance-Vought Aircraft for over 25 years and raised a great family.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Herbert Epstein of 50 years; sons, William “Buzz” Barron, of Texarkana, Tim Barron, of Red Rock and Mark Epstein, of Austin; daughters, Susan Epstein Poore, of Arlington and Anne French, of Belize; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and niece, Vickie Lynn Fisk.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Victor Merrill Ballard; and grandson, Jesse Norman Barron.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler, Texas.
