

Marge Ann Adickes Bradford, age 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of Thursday, October 17, 2013. Marge was born on December 5th, 1933 in Palestine, TX to Alice LaMerle Bender and Isaac Newton Adickes who preceded her in death. Her early childhood was spent on the Bender farm where she had fond memories of the time spent with her grandparents, Edna and Adolph Bender. She was married to Robert (Bunky) Lynn Bradford on March 29, 1956 in Houston, Texas. Marge used her spiritual gifts as a 5th grade teacher, as an active participant and leader in Women’s Bible Study Fellowship, and as a devoted children’s coordinator at Bethel Bible Church in Tyler. Marge was dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission as outlined in Matthew 28:19-20. Before dementia took over, Marge loved spending her time singing in the choir at Faith Community Church in Tyler and serving meals to the needy at the Salvation Army. Marge was a devoted, Christian, family woman that spent her existence blessing her family and her friends in every way she could.
Marge is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 57 years, Bunky Bradford; daughter Merri Bradford Jones, husband Benny of Tyler; granddaughter Jessica Jones Mize, husband Jason of Tyler, granddaughter Hannah Jones Domenech, husband Jon of Tyler; and three great grandchildren, Julianna, Jason David, and Jonathan; sister, Brenda Hardt, husband Bill; niece Alice Dorsey, husband Jay, children Carson, Will, and Katie; niece Emily Hardt, husband Pete; nephew, Austin Hardt; step brother William R. Butler, wife Bernadette.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, October 19th at Lloyd James Funeral Home with a private family burial Sunday. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Christian Information Ministries (in care of Cecil Price), Faith Community Church, or Women’s Bible Study Fellowship of Tyler, TX.
