Graveside services for Margie Phillips, 85, of Frisco formerly of Tyler will be at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery with Rev. Bob Sexton officiating under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mrs. Phillips passed away on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010 in Frisco.
She was born on May 23, 1925 in Tyler to the late O. B. and Inez E. Steel Townsend. She was a homemaker, a member of West Lake Baptist Church of Chandler, a lioness in the Lions Club and a charter member of Westside Volunteer Fire Department. She lived in Tyler most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W. W. ‘Phil’ Phillips in 1988, sister, Dorothy Harrison and brother, Norman Townsend.
She is survived by her sons, Denny Phillips and wife Sheila of Frisco and Bob Phillips of Hideaway; grandchildren, Jeff Phillips, Adam Phillips, Lacy Collier, Kimberley Brunetto and Jennifer Smith and 14 great grandchildren.
