I am so sorry to hear about your Mother. my family has so many fond memories of her and all of you. Her love of Christ and her sense of humor are the things I remember most. Yall came to visit us not long after we moved to Jones Creek. After church, Marie told one of the deacons that if she hadnt been in the hospital having Rebecca, Jones Creek wouldn't have gotten us away from Temple Baptist. So many years ago, but you are all remembered with love as if it was yesterday.
My heart and prayers are with you as you say goodbye to her, as well as in the difficult days and weeks ahead.
Edith Smithart Raney.

I will never forget singing in the choir with your mother. We had more fun. She was a beautiful lady and I know she’s singing to Jesus. She was a blessing in my life and I’m so glad God put us all together at Temple.
I love all you girls. It was exciting every Easter to see what the Freeman girls would be wearing. Marie was so talented. I will miss her but I know I will see her again.
I’m in California through the 7th so I’m so sad I will miss seeing you all.
Please know I’m praying for you all and know I love you so much. I truly loved your Mother.
God bless you all and hold you in His arms.
I love you. Debbie

Aunt Marie,
All of RL’s children have asked Jesus to tell you how much you were loved by us. Your kindness and unconditional love will never be forgotten. We remember your wit, your laughter, your love of
life, and mostly your love for Jesus. Thank you for sharing your life with us and for being an example of what kindness and true love is. You will always be a part of us and will never be forgotten. I speak this for all us and for our children who have expressed fond memories of you as well. I think Lori Lee has enjoyed knowing you more than the other children and wanted me to send a special “I love you” to you and the family. As for your wonderful girls, we ask that God send comfort and peace through this difficult time. We also ask that God wraps His arms around Uncle Jack and Aunt Sue so that His presence helps cover their sorrow as well. Love you all, Robert, Howard, Mathew, Johanna and the rest of RL’s bunch.
